The future of workforce training is “virtually” on our doorstep. Most businesses have shifted from traditional in-person training to eLearning platforms, but many need to review and update antiquated eLearning deployment and content. Gone are the days of training via mobile devices where learners answer multiple-choice questions and watch a few videos. Trainers will soon be deploying content via virtual reality technology and AI-enabled applications that allow learners to experience super-realistic interactivity with computers. Headsets, goggles, and hepatic gloves bring sights, sounds, and tactile experiences that allow the learner to “feel” what it is like to perform a mechanical action correctly.
